Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1 teaspoon ground cloves

3 extra large grade A eggs

1 can (29oz) 100 % Pumpkin Puree

12 oz Extra Heavy Whipping Cream

2 unbaked pie shells

Directions

Mix:

sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves in small bowl.  Beat eggs in large bowl.  Stir in pumpkin and dry ingredients.  Gradually stir in Extra Heavy Whipping cream.

Pour:

Into 2 pie shells ( 4 cup volume)

Bake:

In preheated oven 425 degrees for 15 minutes.  Reduce heat to 350 degrees bake 40- 50 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean.  Cool on wire rack for 2 hours top with Cool whip and serve room temp.  Refrigerate any left over. Good for 5 days refrigerated.
