Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients:

4 pounds Russet Potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 inch chunks (about 5 cups)

1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream

4 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

1. Put potatoes in large pot and cover potatoes with water. Cook 20 minutes, or until tender. Drain.

2. Place potatoes into mixing bowl.

3. With potato masher, mash in heavy whipping cream, butter, salt and pepper. Blend with mixer until potatoes are smooth and creamy. Stir in any optional add-ins, if desired. Grated cheese or garlic would be examples.

Serves 8 - 10
